1979 alfa romeo spider, runs good, looks good, easy restore

Thanks for checking out my car. I bought it about 2 years ago, in San Diego. As far as I know, it was a southern California car since 1979. Drove it home all the way to Las Vegas, with no problems. (Please note that right now the car has Alaska plates. This is because I was going to take it to my second home in Alaska, but never did. Car has been used only in Las Vegas, NV since I have owned it.) Sanded the clear-coat off, in preparation for painting. Installed some new carpeting, so the interior looks pretty good. However, the seats could probably use new coverings. If you need to smog it, you'll need a new catalytic converter, as I cored out the existing one. Also, the center muffler might need replacing, although it is not noticeably loud. As you probably know, most Alfa Romeos will leak a touch of oil, and this one is no different. But, it isn't anything serious at all. Again, if you are savvy about older Alfa's, you know that shifting into 2nd gear is different. (you must be going 20 mph or less, to shift into 2nd,or else double clutching is necessary) Other than this standard oddity, the shifting is good, and the clutch is also good. The brakes are good also. Newer Bilstein shocks,rides nice and tight. Odometer currently reads 65,810 COULD VERY WELL BE 165K, but honestly do not know. Selling it "AS-IS".
