Description
Rare 1979 AMC AMX with the 304 V-8 automatic. One of only 3,893 made with the factory installed V-8. Only 78,500 original miles. Rust free Texas car! I am the second owner. The original owner died in 1995 and the car sat in his daughter garage for almost 20 years before I picked it up. I have driven it for about 8,000 miles and have had a blast! Unfortunately I have to part with it. Is probably about 90% original with no rust and original paint. Brand new Cooper Cobra tires and a Edelbrock SP2P intake with a 390 Holley. Also have a 650 Holley for it.
Not sure if the A/C works. It is unplugged at the compressor and I haven't played with it. I prefer the windows down! Also needed new struts for the back hatch. And the drivers seat is starting to split.
