Description

1965 Rambler Ambassador. Lots of work has been done.
-Torque tube upgraded to drive shaft
-Rear leaf springs and Ford 9inch installed
-AMC 304 installed with AMC 904 transmission(no silly Chevy parts)
-Disc brakes from a 1978 Concord AMX(same as the engine)
-New/rebuilt master and power booster
-Radiator reconditioned
-Fuel tank dropped and cleaned(fuel gauge works!)
-All a/c components have been replaced or reconditioned minus the compressor itself. A/c is ready to be charged
Options include tilt column, am radio(not working), air conditioning(not charged), power steering, power disc breaks and electric windshield wipers.
The Bad:
The engine smokes bad when starting and never really goes away. It is my opinion the engine will need a complete rebuild. Carb is a new Holley 2barrle but still has a hesitation upon acceleration. The car has very little rust outside of surface rust. The only 2 spots I can find are just below the wagon door(pictured) and a half hearted patch attempt on the fire wall(pictured). The car does take in water up front and will need to be kept under cover until addressed, especially when raining.
All questions welcome. I have a lot more AMC stuff I will be listing for sale. Last picture is my front yard. Everything for sale minus the 79 Concord, for now..
