The first Aston Martin produced by the company under full Ford ownership was the DB7 in 1993. The DB7 was initially available as a coupe, and was intended to be a more achievable model in comparison to the hand-built Virage. Achievable is relative, of course, as the DB7 coupe cost $140,000. Still, Ford’s mass market aspirations were realized as approximately 7,000 DB7s were built from 1993 to 2004, making it the most prolific model Aston ever made. In fact, Aston acquired a factory in Bloxham, Oxfordshire, in order to handle demand.
This 2002 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage is finished in Aston Martin Racing Green with tan leather interior and green piping set off by a dark green top. This DB7 has 20,261 miles and is well-optioned with walnut veneer interior trim, premium rebuilt audio system, heated seats, Aston Martin umbrella, windscreen, floor mats and gold brake calipers - all original and in good condition. The power behind this DB7 comes from a 5.9-liter, 48-valve, V12 engine, generating 420hp and 400 ft/lbs of torque, mated to the optional Touchtronic 5-speed automatic transmission.
