16" Alloy Wheels - Tyres still have plenty of life left
White Cloth Interior
Serviced every 10k Miles.
Cam belt changed at 155k
Brake Pads plenty of life left.
This car is a great workhorse, it keeps going and going.
There is loads of room for 4 adults to sit comfortably, 5 at a push.
The boot has 2 levels, when the rear seat is folder it has loads of space. You wouldn't believe what you can fit in this car.
Only selling as we've got 2 newer cars now and no room to store this one.
Good Bits:
£30 a year to tax
Superb fuel consumption ~65mpg
Aluminium body, so no rusting & very lightweight
It's very nippy as it's so light and will happily cruise on the motorway or around town and return great fuel consumption.
The commons failure parts have already been changed over the years I've had it, Injector Wiring Loom, Tandem Fuel Pump & Coolant Hose. These are all common issues with early parts and have been changed and are all fine now.
Cheap Insurance
Bad Bits:
The gearbox crunches if you change from 2nd to 3rd fast, it has done this since we bought it at 80k miles and has got no worse, you can easily drive around it by changing gear the tiniest bit slower. You can pick up a replacement gearbox for ~£150 from ebay, I just haven't got the time or space to do it now. It still drives perfectly fine as it is now.
The Open Sky sunroof has never worked since I've owned it, but it's still nice to have all the light coming in.
The wheels are a bit scratched up, but they are all straight and tyres are all good. Again, they were like this when I bought the car and all I've done is change tyres when necessary.
This car isn't in Excellent Condition, I've been honest in the problems it's got, but for the price it's a bargain. There is plenty of life left in this little Audi and I'm sure someone will get a bargain.
