2009 (09) Audi A3 2.0 TDI (140/177*) Black Edition finished in Misano red pearl with black half leather interior and 18" anthracite alloy wheels, this cars specification in addition to that of a standard Black Edition includes Audi Magnetic Ride (very rare option) Audi Navigation Plus (with recent maps and live traffic) Audi auto dimming mirrors, Audi see me home lighting and Audi mud flaps.
The car had Revo software upgrade in April 2014 which not only increases the power and torque of the engine but creates much more responsive, usable and smoother power, this has improved the drive and feel of the car immensely and has actually increased the fuel economy.
This is an honest two owner car which has been well looked after and is only being sold as my partner will now be making a short commute to a train station instead of 50+ miles per day. The exterior is in excellent condition it had a full paint correction in April 2013 and has been detailed regularly since There are two small 'dinks' to the near side rear quarter one is noticeable when you know where to look the other can only been seen in the right light at the right angle, there are two light marks to the rear bumper one just below the boot and one just behind the mudflap. The front bumper was professionally resprayed (taken off, stripped down, painted rebuilt and fitted) in June 2014 due to Lacquer peel (pictures available) the rest of the car is original paint and panels.
The interior is again in excellent condition it has never been smoked in or had pets in and there are no marks/scuffs/scratches, the leather is regularly 'fed' with quality products and is still soft, Genuine Audi tailored mats have been fitted since new so the carpets are as new. The only negative point is the latch for the armrest compartment is missing.
Mechanically the car is again excellent both myself and my partner have mechanical sympathy for our vehicles so we wait for the glow plug light to go out before warming the car up and let the car run for a minute or two before turning the car off, the engines idles smoothly and holds boost correctly. The clutch has plenty of travel and does not slip, the gearbox is crisp and engages all gears with no crunching. The car geometry is spot on it does not pull to either side and the steering is precise with no play. The brakes more then powerful enough for the car and the car pulls up in a straight line. The suspension is firm and there is no play or knocks squeaks, the magnetic ride works correctly and stiffens up all four corners of the car at the press of a button. All electronics work correctly, all mechanisms work correctly.
