**VERY CLEAN EXAMPLE**
This Audi A3 1.4 Turbo is a great reliable stylish 2 door hatchback that has never missed a beat , a very very well looked after example. It has a large sized boot and plenty of storage compartments. It has all the options you would expect on an S-LINE model and some desirable optional extras. With its punchy 1.4 litre turbo charged engine and 6 speed manual gearbox it regularly returns up to 45 mpg on average and up to 55 mpg on long runs. With it being a 1.4 litre engine it is also a lot cheaper to insure for a younger driver. It is HPI clear but please feel free to do your own checks. This has been my wifes car for over 2 years and she absolutely loves it. It is our pride and joy and is a very reluctant sale as it took a long time to find this particular model and spec but we have recently had our first child so have decided to sell this car and buy a 4 door as we didn't want to cause any damage to the leather or paint work constantly getting in and out of the rear seats. I am a car enthusiast and look after any car in our possession regardless of cost.

At 69,228 miles we visited the dealership to have a new timing chain / tensioner kit fitted, head gasket replaced, decoked cylinder head (cleaned), replaced inlet valves and other bits and pieces. The total for parts and labour was £2,461.18p. But we didn't mind getting this work done as we were planning on keep the car for a few more years but then our little baby girl came along and with it being a 3 door we have now decided to sell. But we had a 2 year warranty covering all this work as it was done by AUDI not some backstreet garage. So there is still a whole year left on the warranty until August 2016 for all this work that has been done. We have driven the car daily without issue for a year since this work was done. All work done by the dealership carries a 2 year parts and labour warranty.
If you are planning on getting a car with a 1.2 or 1.4 TFSI chain driven engine and it has done over 50,000 miles I would ask the seller if they have had the timing chain and tensioner replaced. As the tensioner has been known to fail and then this makes the timing chain slack and it can come loose. You can Google this and find plenty of info on it in various online forums. I found this out the hard way as you can see by how much it cost to put right, but the car drives like new and it still has warranty from Audi. At least now the new owner of this 1.4 TFSI will not have to worry about this issue at all as we have already had it all sorted. Some of the work we didn't actually need doing but as the engine was to be taken apart I opted to get some other bits replaced also. I have all the invoices and paperwork for all the work done. You may even contact Shrewsbury Audi if you wish to confirm all this work has been done.

The genuine AUDI 18" S-LINE alloy wheels are basically as new with no scratches or curb marks and have good tyres. The engine is very quiet and performs as expected, gear change is smooth as silk. It has a smooth drive and still feels nice and tight like new even with it being lowered on Eibach lowering springs for comfort and a nicer look. The original S-LINE springs are known to be a little harsh and too firm for everyday driving so I upgraded them to Eibach Sportline springs. Audi Sport models come lowered by 15mm compared to standard models. S-LINE models come 15mm lower than Sport models so 25mm lower than standard. The Eibach springs have lowered the car a further 25mm on top of the 25mm it already was, so 50mm in total but as you can see it looks so much better and the ride quality is so much more comfortable now. There are no and have never been any engine modifications.

I have just spent £100 resurfacing both front seats back to a matt black factory fresh feel and look by a professional leather upholsterer. Thatcham cat 1 alarm/immobiliser, driver/passenger/side airbags, power steering, ABS, storage compartments, factory fitted rear window blind, 3 rear headrests with 3 full seat belts, factory fitted ipod connection, voice command system for phone (phone specific adaptor required), S-LINE bumpers, 3 spoke multi function S-LINE steering wheel, full tool kit, warning triangle, spare oil holder in boot, full auto close/open windows off fob, twin stainless steel S-LINE tailpipes, centre leather armrest and storage, coin tray, ESP control, S-LINE brushed aluminium trim inlays, black roof lining, full dual zone digital climate control, auto wipers, twin vanity mirrors and lights, boot opening off fob, new S-LINE rubber mat set, auto locking doors on movement, anti dazzle rear view mirror, trip computer shows fuel range, trips, time, temp etc, seat belt safety noise, isofix, front fog lights, halogen headlights, servo-tronic speed dependant power steering, EDL (electronic differential lock), EBD (electronic brake force distribution), ASR (anti slip regulation), DIS (driver information system), heat insulating glass. I am sure there maybe be some other options I have missed out but if you have any questions please ask.
Gearbox, engine, clutch etc very smooth and responsive. Overall a great well cared for example with a great interior and body for the age of the car. It comes with the original AUDI wallet with owners manual, service book and several other manuals, receipts etc. Brand new battery with receipt and warranty to be fitted for new owner.
Please note: I had the 1.4T badge removed from the rear of the car and have added a genuine AUDI dealership 3.2 QUATTRO badge as you cannot tell the difference between this 1.4 TFSI and a real 3.2 V6 QUATTRO model unless you open the bonnet. It gives the car that bit more road presence in my opinion but if its not to your taste it is easily removeable.
