Description
New MOT (to June 27 2015) and two new rear tyres.
I've owned this car since October 2011 and have maintained it in accordance with and above manufacturers guidance (the last service was on 26th May 2014 at 113,138 miles for oil,air, fuel filters and new rear pads). Services have been carried out before the condition based servicing saysits needed, and every service since I've owned it has used OEM specfilters and Castrol Edge VW507 spec oil. The car was main dealerserviced by the previous owners.I have always used branded (nonsupermarket) diesel and add Millers additive to each tank (this keepsthe injectors etc clean). My fully licensed Ross-Tech VCDS shows no errorcodes except for the two related to the radio (as it's not the Audiradio).
The previous owner had the turbo replaced at 64k. In addition to normalservice items, I've replaced the timing belt and waterpump at74,420miles, plus the 'stutter' valve, EGR valve and rear wiper motor(all the original fit common failure items).
The car’s performance is standard from the factory (no chip tuning) but has the addition of a genuine audi retrofit cruise control, 3rd party alloy wheels, Bury handsfree Bluetooth and Sony radio/CD/MP3/USB player. The front tyres are Dunlop Sport with approx. 3.5mm tread and the rear are new Event tyres.
Fuel economy is excellent - I commute down the M11 and around the North Circular and as shown in the photos I’ve averaged 49.4 mpg over the last 9071 miles (note the engine management light is only on in the photos because the engine wasn’t started).
The car is still being used so the mileage will increase from the 113980 stated (mileage at 18/7).
The nearside door mirror has a small piece missing (see photo) but the electric adjustment is not affected.
I have only ever had one key -apparently the cost of a second is approx £150 from an Audi dealer.
Payment to be an initial non refundable £50 deposit via Paypal within 24hours of winning the auction. Unless otherwise agreed via ebay messages, the remaining balance must be paid either within 7 days cash on collection (all notes will be checked with “fraud pen' ) or direct bank transfer (not Paypal) within 4 days. The car will only be released on full cleared payment.
The car is located in Haverhill Suffolk.
Option - I also have a full set (4) winter tyres on steel rims with wheel trims that any buyer can take the option on for an additonal £200 before I list them separately. They have only been used for two winters. Even though the car is front wheel drive the difference winter tyres make when it gets below 5 degrees is significant - I have kept straight and in control when similar cars have struggled.
