2007 57 Reg Audi A3 1.6 Special Edition in Dark Blue Metallic
RELISTED due to buyer placing a bid then changing their mind without even coming to see the car!
Please only offer if you are 100% committed to buying - otherwise do not bid as it wastes everyone's time including the 30+ people who were watching this first time round.
Selling as spares or repairs due to engine rattling/knocking above 2000 revs. On idle it sounds ok and both oil and water levels are fine with no smoke from the exhaust.
Car starts and drives for loading purposes but I would strongly recommend recovering it to avoid further engine damage.
Maybe repairable or a straight forward engine swap (readily available on eBay)
Overall the bodywork is very nice and straight with a couple of light scuffs on the bumpers and usual wear and tear expected of a second hand car. Only real bad point is a scrape to the passenger rear arch which i've shown in the pictures. Inside the glove box hinge is also broken.
MOT'd until Nov 2015, HPi clear, 2 keys and V5/2 green slip present. Full V5 has been applied for and should turn up within the next week and will be supplied with the car upon collection.
Will make a lovely car once sorted. Viewings welcome - car is in Slough Berkshire.
