2003 Audi A4 1.8t for sale by private owner in fair condition.
Took vehicle to MasterTech Auto Care and had a diagnostic test done to find out the malfunctions with the vehicle:
THE BAD
-Faulty g28 Sensor (speed sensor)
-Needs Catalytic Converter (CEL comes On/Off)
-Rear driver side abs sensor needs to be replaced
-Leaks Coolant - Still Drive-able (Head Flange and Coolant Pipe & Hose, Flange to Heater Core)
THE GOOD
-Cold A/C
-Brand New State Inspection expires August 2018
-Replaced Alternator right after I bought vehicle
-New Water Pump and Timing Belt at 95k
-Brand New Tires (x4) - Continental
-Clean Interior, No Stains, Non-Smoker, No Dogs, Minor Rips on driver seat
-Only Synthetic Mobil1 5w-30 Oil Change every 5k miles
-Accident Free
-Clean/Clear Title in Hand
Car was babied, well maintained, and unfortunately started having issues. Vehicle had trouble starting so I researched it and ended up replacing the Coolant Temperature Sensor which fixed that issue. Then the engine seemed to misfire while driving and idling so had diagnostic test ran and the shop found the g28 sensor to be defective causing the engine to idle roughly. Vehicle only needs minor mechanical services in order to be running like an Audi should again.
Excellent gas mileage. Fun to drive has turbo (quick) and cruise control works nicely. I don't have the time to fix her back up although I wish I could keep her because of the reliability, space, and fuel economy but I need her GONE ASAP!
