A classic convertible, with real performance.Replacement cost (2021 Audi A5) exceeds $50,000.Car has the highly desirable Quattro option providing incredible torque and all-wheel traction.Per pictures: body is perfect, interior pristine.Garaged (for sure) last ten years.Air conditioning runs super cold.And best of all, low, low miles.57,000 total miles (4,400 miles per year).
Carfax included. Owned by myself and a senior insurance executive last 10 years.When I picked up the car, five years ago, saw first-hand that the insurance executive always garaged the car.Since owning the car, always garaged in East Hampton, NY and serviced at the leading auto restoration/repair shop in the Hamptons.
Only known issues with car:1) Passenger window stopped working a week ago; 2) Glue for glass convertible top dried out over the years and window is pulling away from fabric/frame (see picture); 3) License plate light burnt out.Plenty of YouTube videos on:- Fixing the power window with parts costing less than $400.- Using silicone glue to permanently repair the window.
Your offset to the window and top issue: the convertible has four brand new Conti Pro Contact performance tires!Paid $1,000 per attached receipt – likely double for equivalent performance tires at the Audi dealer.
