Description

The time has come to advertise my Audi TFSi, Ive been putting this off for a good few months now. Has been my daily driver commuting 40miles a day for the last 2 years and hasn't missed a beat. Every single modification has been done this year at huge expense, I have replaced it recently with a newish transit van more suited to my needs as a daily driver. I've also modified the car 4 times with different sets of wheels and changing little bits to try and keep me interested but frankly I'm not anymore, my life is to busy to enjoy it so now it just sits outside looking pretty, I've stuck to using it every Saturday since October to keep it kind of in use, which just results in driving 15 miles each way to my parents house with my little boy in the back. Although as of yesterday 22/12/2015 it is now uninsured and sorn, due to plate change it was just easier to cancel the insurance than mess about changing registration plates on the policy, plus its just costing me to much with two insurances
Ive just replaced the thermostat with a genuine part which was the only thing the car needed, with the recent cold weather it took a while to get up to operating temps and my VCDS showed up the coolant system fault code relating to thermostat. now its perfect, also has fresh coolant change. This car now needs nothing, no bad points
Ive got the receipt for cambelt which was done before my ownership, it was done in 2012 and 64K, Hasn't done much mileage since but time was ideally its best to do it every 5 years, which would be 2017, the cambelt cover has a inspection cover which you can check easy when viewing the car, i can confirm it still looks new and exactly as it should, they are heavy duty belts on these too
I have got every receipt, previous mots, all keys, All bigger jobs have been carried out by AwesomeGTi in Manchester, Even so I'm very capable; these days i just prefer to pay someone. All the smaller stuff and servicing has been done by myself, Has full Audi service history up to 60 odd thousand which is what i bought it on, since then obviously nothing as its been done by myself, I change the oil every 3-4K without fail, For the recommended Millers Nanodrive 5w40. Cam follower I've done every 5K even so it don't need doing until probably every 10-15K
Its a 2WD version so a lot less weight than the quattro, its now on 87K which is ideal and low mileage for a TFSi, at 84K i done the dreaded inlet clean to remove the carbon build up in the ports, While i was there i fitted the runner flap delete kit an removed the motor which allows cleaner air flow andis also one less thing to go wrong. also done new injector seals and cam follower again while i was in there. Has MOT until April 2016. PRIVATE PLATE IS NOW REMOVED and its back on its 2005 registration. I have no finance or loans against this car, its totally hpi clear, hasn't been written off or anything, will just show up with my plate change. Please do your own checks for piece of mind and any inspection is welcome
Since the remap and RR its now got the runner flap delete, inlet clean which was quite bad and the apr carbon fibre intake set up, car felt a lot better after this and could easily be running around 270bhp now, all it needs for stage 2+ is uprated intercooler(s) then its ready for mapping straight to around 285-290 and a lot more torque, these TFSi's punch way above their weight with their high torque figures

Along with the factory BOSE subwoofer it does sound amazing if your into that sort of thing

This car has the full package, super reliable, still returns 30-40mpg cruisng/on a run, Fast, handles very well, estate petrol turbo car that can be used, This has also been my main family car since Ive owned it, Been on several family holidays, Isn't silly low and unusuable.
In comparison this car is dead even with RS4 B7's with a rolling start, Will always surprise you what it can do for a 2.0 all because of the torque curve, At the same time it will cruise along very comfortably. the very few friends Ive let drive it have said how effortless it feels, you never have to ring its neck
I went a bit overkill on the clutch set up, lightweight solid flywheel and a stage 3+ clutch, the clutch and pressure plate is capable of holding 480ft-lbs of torque, which is big turbo sort of power, so basically this car will never get clutch slip, even if you went for a K04 turbo in the future and 350BHP. The reason i put this clutch in was because i never know how far im planning to go with a car, so i like to plan ahead, cost me a lot more but i like to do stuff once. also if your not used to solid flywheels and uprated clutches it can take a little while to get used to it, and the chatter noises. the clutch is a full friction rather than a paddle clutch, but its still heavier than usual due to the solid flywheel and also has a very high biting point for faster shifting, it can also judder slightly if you were to pull away on a hill say when the clutch is cold, in that case you have to treat it like a switch, quicker you release it and pull away the better, I'm probably making it sound worse than it is but would rather mention it. don't expect it to have a low biting point and characteristics of a standard car. other than the clutch though (until your used to it); for a modified car it feels very factory, suspension isn't much stiffer than the s-line suspension, and being tuned by the best tfsi specialist the power also feels factory the way it delivers it, very liner and smooth. allowing it to have a nice amount of grip for a fwd, just grips and goes rather than dramatic wheel spin and not getting anyway, on the other hand in the wet,.. don't even bother as it will spin up in 3rd with ease
Sorry this advert has gone on a bit but if your genuinely interested then the more info the better in my opinion, Viewing is highly recommended, if you like it and have the money you'll buy it. it can not be faulted. This car owes me just under 15K including buying it for 6K 2 years ago
Cash on collection only, from Wokingham, Berkshire, NO SWAPS, I wont waste my time replying, I'm in no rush to sell this and have changed my mind many times already so i wont be tempted by silly offers either, although i will consider very near sensible offers.
