This vehicle was our first foray into European car ownership and it has been a fantastic purchase - good enough that we're now effectively trading up to a more recent example of the same car. I suspect I will prising the keys to this one out of my wife's cold, dead hands.The MY10 2.0 litre TFSI engine is a huge step up from the base 1.8 litre, as is the 7-speed dual clutch gearbox over the woeful based model CVT. It had gobs of mid-range torque and will pull top gear up a nearby hill that even V8s won't hold. The AWD system is brilliant, especially in the wet, and between it and the impressive brakes, gives the car a very safe, firmly-planted feel. It really is a joy to drive.The paint colour is apparently Meteor Grey, although it looks more blue in my eyes. Suffice to say it looks fantastic, and seems to be a fairly rare colour option. Black leather is 1000% better than the tan trim, especially if you have young kids!There are a number of features on the 2.0 litre quattro model that aren't on the lower models, but the best by far is LED daytime running lights and xenon headlamps which are incredible. You'll soon wonder why anyone bothers using halogen headlights these days.This car comes with near-new (and un-damaged) 20" Audi RS6 wheels which lift the visual appeal of the car immeasurably. The larger wheels have no effect on the ride, thankfully. Two front tyres are brand new, the rears will need replacing in another few thousand kms (and aren't that expensive - they share sizes with Holden Commodores).
Just had its 130,000km service done, so next one is not for another 12,000km or so. Price is very low start because the kms are a little higher than normal.Given the current model A4 is effectively the same design as this this is a great way to purchase a prestige vehicle without having to break the bank! Comes with books and I have the PPSR check from when we purchased it, which I can email to you upon request.
