I bought the car at an auction last week thinking I was getting myself a great deal Paid, picked it up and drove it home Everything was fine until Wednesdaywhen I was driving to do the MOT at my local garage and the gearbox started slipping. So sadly instead of doing the MOT as planed the car was instead plugged into the computer diagnostics only to come up with faulty forward friction plates. The gearbox oil level is okay and there do not seem to be any other faults registering on the computer. However on the drive back home from the garage the slipping got worse and now sadly the car is moving but struggling. The reverse is fine and does not seem to be slipping, all gears are selecting no problems here but slipping. The quote I ad for fixing the problem is between 300 and 500 pounds. So I have decided to sell as spare or repair.
Engine starts, all electrics work, good tyres, fully loaded with leather interior, electric seats and sat nav tv(disk included). V5 is on the way from DVLA. Car will need to be towed away. Price is listed with best offer. If not sold will be broken on parts.
