Description
AUDI S3
2002
This is an excellent example of the S3 with low kms, full service history and no modifications whatever. In my opinion no modifications are needed, it is already fast and nimble with its torquey turbo engine, 6 speed gearbox, 4wd, traction control ALB etc. It is a joy to drive, and since you are reading this, you probably already know that. I will be sad to sell, but I am retired now and can no longer afford to run three cars.
The car runs beautifully and all the functions work, Aircon, Cruise Control, CD stereo etc.
I have had the car two years and have only had two minor services done. The service records indicate that the cam belt was changed on schedule and the next major service is not due till 180,000 kms.
The good:
Wheels in good condition with no gutter rash.
Tyres only about half worn.
Leather Recaro seats in excellent condition.
New headlining (replaced recently).
Clean ash trays, no smoking car.
Some bad points:
Some pixels out on the Instrument Panel but you can still read it. Common on Audi/VW.
Some wear to drivers side carpet mat (but carpets themselves are in excellent condition)
Scratch marks on lower left of windscreen where some clown removed the rego sticker with steel wool!!
Minor stone chips and paint imperfections which don't affect appearance and don't show up in photos, you need to inspect!
One trim from around fog light on front missing. (I removed the other one to make it look even)
Minor scratches on sides and underneath of front air dam.
I you are in the market for one of these S3s you will by now realise that most have huge milages and/or insane modifications. Mine has neither so it is definitely worth a look. The car can be inspected anytime at North Gosford on the central coast, 45 mins from Hornsby on the M1. Send an email or call to arrange a time for inspection.
