This is one of the Audi R8 timepieces displayed at the auto-show. It’s the one and only item for the Audi R8 enthusiast who has everything!! This Audi R8 timepiece is a double sided street timepiece with the Audi chrome finish, and features the identical double sided Audi R8 faces and flags, Audi R8 on each side and the hour markers in raised chrome, and the chrome hands are in matching steel. The timepiece is ran by dual independent High Torque precision quartz regulated movements. The timepieces dials are protected by thick tempered glass. The timepieces primarily use should be indoors but the timepieces can certainly be used outdoors depending on the weather conditions of-course.
Most Audi R8 owners drive to work, park their Audi R8 safely in the parking garage, and take the elevator up to the “umpteenth” floor where guests of the office will come and go, and never know that you are the owner of a fabulous Audi R8! Well, put this item in your office, and if they don’t know already, they’re going to ask about it, that’s for sure, as you have never seen anything like this timepiece in your lifetime! I promise you, these photos are not even close to how nice this timepiece is in person. Imagine, this timepiece is actually 100 times nicer than the photos I took below, so just think of what this beauty will look like standing proudly in your office, home or garage, or better yet, mount it right in your parking spot! It’s in absolutely excellent condition. Any imperfections you see in the photos is a reflection. Imagine this beautiful timepiece in your garage next to your Audi R8!!
I’ve taken measurements of the Audi R8 timepiece for you to get a better understanding of how large this timepiece really is. This awesome Audi R8 timepiece stands just over 7.3 feet (222.50cm) in height and it’s solid steel with a chrome finish. It’s heavy, weighing in at 320lbs (145kgs). The head of the Audi R8 timepiece measures 18.5 inches (47cm) in diameter and the timepiece face is 15 inches (38cm). Measuring from flag post, side to side the width is 39.7 inches (110cm) and the flag holders measure 38.15 inches (97cm) from top to bottom. The post between the flags measures 3 inches (7.62cm) in diameter and the post has a 9.5 inches (24cm) of circumference. The large base being the footing of the Audi R8 timepiece measures in at 22.44 inches (57cm) tall.
The base of the Audi R8 timepiece measures 26 inches (66cm) in diameter and is 2.15 inches (5.5cm) tick. The base plate alone weighs in at 220lbs (100kg), making the centre of gravity as low as possible keeping the timepiece sturdy, stable and very difficult to tip over and very challenging to move without disassembling the timepiece entirely.
