Audi RS6 C5 540bhp 4.2 V8 Avant MRC Tuned 815nm

For sale is my 2003 C5 Rs6 Avant finished in Avus Silver with black leather interior and carbon inlays.

I work for a Volkswagen/Audi dealership and had been looking for a RS6 for a while. I wanted one that had all the costly problems either fixed or replaced by aftermarket components. I finally found this one which had been owned by the previous owner for 4 years. The car is excellent mechanically. It has full service history with only Audi, MRC (the best UK Audi tuning company) and Unit 20 (Northern Specialist Performance Audi Centre). The last major service was carried out 6 weeks ago at Lake District Audi. The car had a MOT last week and past fine.
The car has had a small fortune spent on it in tuning components to make it achieve its incredible power safely. The car has had all its tuning done at MRC. It’s running a custom MRC Stage 2 map. Before any mapping MRC carried out an engine health check. It produced 550ps (542bhp) and 815nm of torque. (One run it pulled over 1000nm but map is set to a safe limit!) Power wise it has the following fitted to achieve this:
Full Miltek Resonated Exhaust and decat pipes. (not too loud but sounds amazing) £1,900
Wangner Side Mount Intercoolers with full carbon fibre ducting. £1,600
Ace Torque Converter shipped over from USA (allows gearbox to handle the power, Very rare to find fitted)
ITG panel air filters (original carbon air box) £110
The car also has had the problematic DRC suspension removed for the best aftermarket option. Bilstein PSS9’s all-round with geometry set up. £2,100
The car has covered 131,000 miles on the clock but the engine was replaced under warranty by Audi at 60,572miles. It had a new engine and 2 new turbo’s fitted at the time which have only covered 70,500 miles. Since then the engine has had numerous health checks and runs perfect. The weak spot on these cars is the gearbox if not looked after and serviced. In June 2012 at 115,500 miles Unit20 fitted a gearbox, cambelt, water pump, cam tensioner and chains. This came to a cost of over £8,000 (have all invoices). Since this the gearbox has been regularly serviced and shifts perfectly. Only 16,000 miles on gearbox!
I have a company car so this car has been my pride and joy at weekends. I only use the car for driving round the lakes, not used for shopping runs and don’t have any kids. It’s washed after every use with a 2 bucket method and waxed regularly (all AutoGlym products). Through winter the car is strictly never used due to salt on the road. The car has an engine temperature gage and oil temp gage. I never run the car onto boost until the engine is warm. I then always let the oil warm up before putting a lot of load through the gear box. I then allways let the car cool down off boost before parking up. Doing this ensures the engine and gearbox don’t take any abuse. If you treat these cars with respect they are as reliable as any other. I only run the car on Shell V-Power.
The car also has all the original spec from the factory. Climate control, heated Recaro seats front and rear, cruise control, xenon headlights, sun roof, parking sensors front and rear, paddle shifters on wheel, folding mirrors, 19 inch alloys, Bose stereo, Sat-Nav and TV.
Extras fitted, Ipod cable fitted in glove box, full LED bulb replacement. Parking sensors don't work, new sensors needed (ebay £18) on the front but never use them as only park on my drive.
Also has had all the wheels recently powered coated dark grey with new Vredestein Sessanta tyres. loads of tread left. Front Ferodo DS2500 pads and Zimmerman discs last year. Car is HPI clear.
Im selling the car now due to needing more funds for my house, bathrooms and crap :(
