Description

I've owned this car since 2003 and built it to be a fun summer performance car. Interior is in awesome condition with brown optic baseball leather on black and exterior is metallic black. The car is setup with a custom big turbo motor sporting a custom high flow built aluminum AEB top end and sport suspension.
The car is adult owned, fully sorted and daily driven the last 7500m with only 75000 miles on the chassis. It sports the sought after baseball optics leather interior. The car is super clean with metallic raven black paint, after-market insulated convertible top, and OEM accessory ($1200) cockpit canvas cover. I've stored it covered. Recently its been my daily driver and I'm starting to rack up too many chips and dings. Its time to let it go to another enthusiast who can appreciate its merit and the nature of the build.
There is wear on the driver seat bolster and the OEM snap down driver side carpet, but other than that the interior is super clean. I've religiously cleaned and conditioned the leather each year. Every light and switch works. All glow red at night like a warplane.
I've replaced the ashtray with a billet aluminum gauge pod (near OEM looking boost and oil temp) that is black crinkle powder coated to match OEM. All the aluminum billet trim pieces are perfect. OEM Bose am/fm cassette concert surround sound with 6 disk cd changer. The headlights, AC condenser, AC compressor were all replaced in 2011 when some rock chips pierced the condenser. $5000 worth of insurance work. AC blows ice cold like new. Warranty replaced the lateral and longitudinal sensors, the head unit and I paid a local upholstery shop to replace the convertible heated rear window. I also had them install an insulated black headliner to cover the exposed bows.
I don't want any surprises for the buyer so I'm going to do my best to describe all the issues. There are a mix of chips, swirls and scuffs from 13 years of garage rash. The front bumper has paint chips as does the hood. The rear passenger wheel well has a small ding and paint scuff. There is a quarter size clear coat de-lamination near the gas cap. There are two pea size dents on the rear bumper from the license plate screws of some a-hole who backed into me in a parking lot. And there is a nickel size piece of missing plastic near a windshield squirter. The rims have some edge scuffing on two of them. The cluster has two missing lines The convertible canvas is near perfect and the car comes with an OEM option cockpit cover canvas in matching convertible material. The rubber over the drivers wing window is hardening and will need replaced if a winter driver.
Motor specs.
1.8L 225 20 valve AMU block built with Arrow rods. The low flow AMU head has been replaced with a built large-port AEB head that was fully ported and polished by Competition Cylinder Heads. All valves are oversized titanium Ferrea valves with upgraded valve springs with titanium retainers. The head runs an Autotech intake camshaft. 3071 Garrett, .60AR, internal wastegate, water and oil cooled ball bearing journal turbo. Rated 480Hp. Huge Del Rio FMIC. Custom aluminum intercooler piping connected with Samco silicon hoses. SEM high flow intake manifold with oversized 90mm throttle body. Bosch 044 In-tank high flow fuel pump. 630cc injectors. SAI delete kit, PCV Mods to accommodate the early big port AEB head. Forge competition diverter valve with high tension spring. Del Rio cast exhaust manifold. Hybrid Del Rio 2.75" (or 3") downpipe with a high flow Cat 42DD. New HD custom ClutchMasters clutch, new slave cylinder, new bleeder valve and resurfaced flywheel done 02/2017. New timing belt, water pump and aluminum pipe flanges. Wideband o2 ECU United Motorsports ProMAF wide band custom software tune and eMAF. Electronic launch controlManual boost controller.
The custom tuning and engine work was done by Audi pro. It is currently running 18psi boost with injectors at 60%. The tune can accommodate upwards of 25psi with lots of fueling capacity to go! The motor is electronically governed at 7500 and sports electronic launch control.
Suspension specs.
Stop-tech big brake kit. Oversize front swaybar. Oversized rear swaybar. Adjustable rear track bars. Koni adjustable coil over kit. VW BBS rims with great summer tires. 85% tread.

I have two sets of rfid OEM remote keys in working order.
DEQ tags just updated and good thru Feb 2019.
No check engine light codes (CELs).
This is a fun car for an Audi or roadster fan. It is fast and fun for on-ramps, passing, drag race or track days.
