This week I have just had a new drivers window regulatorfitted and a full service including spark plugs and all filters. Also noticedcar would be due a replacement Cambelt soon so had this replaced aswell. Allwork documented and invoiced from my trusted VAG Specialist who have given theunderside a checkover reporting no faults.
On the road the carperforms as you would hope in all aspects. Smooth power delivery and lovelytorque from the most desireable engine in the range. Decent economy with 35mpgaround the doors and on motorway runs I'm seeing mid 40's. Quite remarkableactually given the fact you are in a 200bhp sport couple that gets to 60 in 6.6seconds. The suspension is tight and clunk free. Brakes pull the car upperfectly with no dramas and have plenty of life. Car tracks straight and trueand rides the bumps better than most on the fatter profile tyres.
Paintworkis clean retaining deep shine and the colour is great in the flesh with a nicecontrast to the cabin. Leather is clean and only the slightest of wear on thedriver bolster. Carpets and overmats all clean and all trim immaculate and scufffree.
The Mk2 TT has always been highly sought after and is only nowbecoming affordable. The 2.0 tfsi is the pick of the bunch and not to beconfused with the thirsty 3.2 cars. Totally standard example and with a uniquecolour combination looks the part. Any inspection invited.
