Description
For Sale is my much loved Audi TT 225 Quattro.
It is X reg (2000) and has covered 146,800 miles in its 15 years. Anyone who knows these engines, knows there's plenty of life left! (mileage will increase slightly as car is still being used).
I bought the car just over a year ago and within the first month of owning it, the clutch went. I had a new clutch and dual mass flywheel fitted at a cost of £970 in nov 2014. It had a full service and new battery at the same time.
Always run on high octane unleaded.
It had 4 new tyres about 2000 miles ago. They still have the nobbles on the edge!
The exhaust has been replaced with a stainless steel downpipe and mid section de cat (I do have the cats which will go with the car) however the rear section is standard.
New rear brake pads fitted less than 1000 miles ago.
Some of the engine breather pipes needed replacing when I purchased the car, including the air intake pipe and air filter which I did and it now benefits from a ram air filter.
The car has all the standard Audi Quattro luxuries such as; Full Black leather interior, Heated Front Seats (great for the winter!) HID headlights, CD Multi changer, Climate Control, Cruise Control, Trip Computer, Tinted rear windows etc. Everything works.
The cam belt and water pump were last replaced in July 2010 and have done approx. 40k miles so could do with replacing in the next year. I have serviced it this week with oil, filter and fuel filter so it is good to go.
MOT expires September 2016
A couple of bad bits;
It does have a few car park dents on both sides, which are standard for anything of this age.
Passenger window doesn't drop when the door is opened, believe it is the micro switch worn out.
Slight clonk occasionally from the front when turning on full lock from forwards to reverse, i.e. doing a turn in the road. (it's done this since I've had the car. I didn't notice it when I bought it. I've looked into it but can't find it. It didn't show up on the mot test either. Just being honest!
