Description
This is my Audi TT 225 Quattro. The car has never let me down, ever.
There are numerous owners on the V5 document, but then the car has and numerous private plates added and removed, as far as I'm aware, each transfer is clocked as an owner? I could be wrong but i did check.
The car is in reasonable condition for the year, it was HPI checked when i bought it and I've not had any claims or accidents.
It has the Bose sound system and as a musician, i can't say I've heard better, works perfect with a multi changer in the rear of the car. It also still has the first aid kit in the rear.
The interior is very good, no rips, the drivers seat is in good condition and the front seats are heated and work perfectly. The dashboard works, no pixels out, the temp gauge is a little temperamental but works 90% of the time. The only thing on the dash i cannot adjust is the clock.
The car has a manual 6 speed gearbox, no issues, the air con needs recharging for the climate control, it does not have cruise control.
The last MOT it had new front suspension arms with bushes, all of them, a new spring drivers side (common problem) two new front tyres.
There are a few niddles, the driver window is squeaky, the interior light doesn't work from the door opening, its permanently on, an easy fix i'm sure, i just leave it turned off.
Other than that its been brilliant and very reliable, the cam belt was changed by the dealer when i bought the car at 101,000 miles.
the service history goes up to 90,000 miles, since then if its needed it, it has had it.
I have all the paperwork, manuals and old mot's, two keys.
The reason for sale. My family have moved away and I'm doing 100 mile round trips, the fuel computer shows and average of 40.1, how accurate this is I don't know, but i need a diesel.
So, I have looked at a few TT's myself and mine is definitely as good as most, better than a lot.
Please don't make me any silly offers, if you find a cheaper one, i don't care, buy it.
This is my car it's genuine and it carries my son (17) so it's safe, you are free to view.
I would consider a swap, or a trade for the right car, a diesel automatic. Other wise best price gets it.
