Description
For sale is my much loved Audi TT.
This is the third TT I have owned and honestly the one I have liked best - I love the colour combination and it has never caused me any issues to drive.
Body work and interior are both very good for the car's age - amazingly it is 12 years old now! This car still looks every bit as good as it should though!
The engine is sound with no issues at all that I am aware of. At just over 110,000 miles this is a low mileage car for it's age and it has been well looked after throughout it's life with a mixture of main dealer and garage service history. The latest services have not been stamped but I have had the car serviced with each of the last two MOT's
As with all cars there are a couple of issues and I will be as honest as I can with them.
Firstly there is a small hole in the exhaust manifold. When the engine is first turned on and is still running cold you can hear it blow slightly, but as the engine/exhaust warms up and the metal expands the hole closes up. The car passed its last MOT with this issue so I decided to leave it as it is. This does mean the Engine Management light is lit on the dash however. The hole was caused when I scraped the ground going into an underground car park and the light came on after that, I have also had the car inspected to see if there are any engine issues and nothing turned up (the coils which are the usual issue for TT's have all been replaced) so I am personally satisfied that there are no further issues.
The only other thing I can think to mention is that the car judders very slightly when on full lock only. This is only ever apparent when doing a three point turn or something and never occurs when the car is being driven in normal circumstances. I guess that something is slightly loose or been knocked out of place slightly at some point and something is rubbing when the wheels are turned fully over.
I have been as honest as I can - these are the only two issues I know of with the car. Other that this she starts and drives lovely, is clean and tidy and still looks great.
I have priced the car to reflect the issues I have mentioned and I am not desperate to sell so I won't be taking any silly offers - I know this is a good car and worth every penny. I am advertising it only as my girlfriend now has a company car and between us we just don't need two cars. I walk to work so only ever use the car evenings and weekends anyway!
Any test drive welcome, please call Phil for details on 07962496939
The car is kept in Liverpool city centre with plenty of parking available.
Cash only please, no paypal
