FOR SALE AUDI TT 180
My partners TT is up for sale which we have owned since February last year, since then we have covered six thousand miles but we have now reverted back to a more practical car.
This is a very rare Purple TT, not sure how many were made but I have not seen another one (reason I had to buy it), it has the full black heated leather seats , Bose sound system with six disc multi-changer, 18 inch chrome rim alloy wheels, all tyres have plenty of tread.
It has covered almost 160,000 miles and is almost 15 years old and is on the original paintwork so it does have one or two small scrapes and dents. The front bumper has scrapes, there is a dent to the left lower sill cover and also a small "car park" door ding to the left rear quarter otherwise with a good clean and polish it will look very nice. The engine is very quiet and pulls strongly, the clutch and brakes are all good and it runs very well.
We have some previous history with the vehicle although there is no book pack or service book but we have some old receipts and all previous MOT's which back the mileage up, the current MOT expires on 21st October, HPI clear.
I am selling the TT as "spares or repair" because there are one or two things which need addressing, although that said it is still running perfectly fine, the things which need addressing are:
Oxygen sensor number one shows as faulty on a diagnostic system, the secondary air pump makes noise when you first start the car up. The clocks have the usual Audi problem, the fuel gauge starts at halfway and not zero, the fuel light works as normal but the previous owner thought it would be a good idea to try and prize the glass from the temperature gage which is now missing and also has the evidence of the flat head screw driver used. The rear anti roll bar drop links need replacing, the front shock top mounts need replacing. The front anti roll bar bushes need replacing. Occasionally there is a smell of oil from the car which I believe to be oil from the rocker cover gasket.
I have purchased new polyurethane anti roll bar bushes, top mounts, and rear anti roll bar drop links which will come with the car. I do not have time to have all these fitted.
With some TLC this will be a great fun car for years to come, I am aware of how much I can break this vehicle for but it would be a shame to do that.
Cash on collection.
