This TT is in excellent condition for its age in a stunning purple / mauve , make no mistake the paintwork does have a few marks in keeping with its age it is 16 years old. The interior benefits from being half leather and is in excellent condition, everything is in working order all electrics including the electric seats which have been a godsend in the recent cold!
I have owned this for around 6 months, purchased at 109,700 miles and have spent lots of time and money on making it as perfect as possible. The only reason I am selling this now is that I will be moving to a new job in Bristol so instead of a 5 mile commute I now have a daily 100 mile commute. Unfortunately I can't justify commuting in the TT so have had to purchase a boring diesel Mondeo. If it wasn't for the job change there is no way I would be selling this. It is fantastic to drive it pulls superbly in all gears and handles unbelievably well. The car has been given a super chip upgrade at 42,385 miles with receipt for £511. I have the original ECU key so the car can be reverted to it's original 180BHP spec. Unfortunately the invoice does not state the BHP but having researched the superchip upgrades and spoken to the garage that completed the upgrade it would appear to be a stage one upgrade which should have bumped up the BHP to 235 -240BHP. Its quick that's for sure but to all intents and purpose looks like and shows on the V5 as the 180BHP..
The dash panel (a common issue on these where the panel fails) has been replaced by Audi at 44,480 miles at a cost of £641.21 and is perfect working order today.
I have completed the following work to date:
16/10/2015 - Service including Oil Filter and Oil Change using Shell Helix Ultra Professional Fully Synthetic Oil, Air filter, Fuel filter and all spark plugs have been replaced with Bosch Spark Plugs
25/10/2015 - Front Brake Discs and Front Brake Pads Replaced
30/10/2015 - Temperature sensor replaced simply as a precaution as the factory original was still fitted and hey are prone to fail. Flushed through coolant and replaced coolant whilst completing the sensor replacement.
01/11/2015 - Rear Brake caliper (passenger side) replaced with a new unit as it was not retracting fully causing the brakes to rub on one side. The brake fluid was also changed and the brake bled to complete this.
15/11/2015 - Replaced Crank case breather hose x 3 including the 3 way connector along with its PCV one way breather valve - all common faults and one was cracked leaking a small amount of oil hence replaced. I also replaced the oil dipstick funnel and dipstick at the same time as completing these jobs as again a common fault oil leaking from a crack in the dipstick funnel where the plastic has hardened and cracked with heat over the years. Now perfectly dry in this area no Oil leaks whatsoever! Can also cause a loss of pressure reducing power, all replaced!
23/11/2015 - Mass Air Flow Meter replaced with a Bosch meter as the idle was slightly erratic. Air flow meter was £94.96 not a cheap Ebay part. I have the box and invoice for this should the part fail it covered under warranty.
I have MOT's dating back to 2005 at which point the car had covered 46,048 miles, the car is currently on 112,000 miles and drives more like it has 50,000 on the clock!!
I have the Audi book pack, including the handbook, radio key card, audio book etc, the only book I don't have is the service history book hence I took the time to go through the car replacing anything I wasn't happy with. The car has clearly been well looked after, testament to this is the fact it passed its recent MOT with no advisories.
Car has been valeted ready for sale and also had a machine polish so the paintwork is looking great!
