Austin Healey, Sprite, 1962 MKII

This is a beautifully restored original Sprite! An enjoyable weekend (or everyday car), rides low, looks fantastic and drives like a sports car (it has been fitted with racing seat belts and a drivers side roll bar). Purchased from an enthusiast 11 years ago. It has been stripped back to bear metal and resprayed (both seats and internal trim have been recovered) and garaged since purchase. After restoration it was registered as a everyday passenger car for 3 years in 2007-2009. The engine runs well (but may need a few minor checks because it has been in dry storage for a few years but has been run periodically). It was bought as a single mans project and much loved, but after marriage and changes to our situation this is a reluctant sell. It comes with the original bumpers and a removable hardtop (with removable windows - for a weatherproof experience. There is space for a radio/cassette player to be inserted on the dashboard (wiring is still present). The above details list the Kilometers as 0611 - however this is simply the number of miles on the odometer .
I am currently living in Sydney, but the Austin is in storage at my family's house in QLD. It is a fun-car for anyone and will give the new owner a lot of joy!
