AMERICAN LEFT-HAND DRIVE
FULL-SIZED LUXURY SEDAN
1958 Rolls-Royce built Bentley S-1, charcoal on silver with original beige & brown leather interior, A/C, AM/FM radio, 4-speed automatic transmission. Tuned up and ready to drive anywhere.
This is an opportunity to own a piece of history from when Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motors were truly building the world’s finest motorcars. This might just be the best investment of your lifetime. Overall, this Rolls-Royce built Bentley S-1 is one of the cleanest originals I have seen. This is a beautiful example of one of the most sought after models. Mechanically, it is nearly perfect. It has a 6 cylinder 4887 cc engine with twin SU carbs which runs well. Interior is original and in good condition for its age. Air conditioning was added at factory and works perfectly, blows ice cold. New whitewall tires, P/S, working central lubricating system, heated demisting rear window (rare). The car starts and runs easily. A certified mechanic has recently rebuilt all wheel cylinders (6), rebuilt master cylinders (2) and installed a rebuilt brake servo and new linkage, as well as a total rebuild of the transmission. Car has in the past been repainted and paint looks good although there are areas of peeling and chipping on hood and because of rocker panels it should be repainted. The woodwork is intact but needs refinishing.
For all of you who are not familiar, Bentley no longer exists as it had for nearly 100 years. It is now owned by Volkswagen and they are no longer being produced in Crewe, England. The care and craftsmanship that went into building this motorcar is far superior to those they are mass-producing today.
