Endangered Species…Purchased this Malaga
(Maroon)1972 BMW 2002 in 1998 and am not able to give it the drive time it
deserves. The
car is powered by a 2.0 liter engine, rebuilt Solex carb, 4-speed manual
transmission, and rear wheel drive.
Restored to keep it stock with new paint inside and out, re-chromed bumpers with bumperettes, and new upholstery/headliner/carpet with cocoa mats, new rubber trim. Sunroof works! Dash has a crack that I haven’t gotten to yet. . There are two small paint blemishes on the hood (pictured). Odometer was inoperable for a while, estimated mileage at low 100K. Low mileage on Michelin Rain Force All Season tires. Full maintenance records since 1998 and some prior. Clean title. The car runs, loves to be driven, and is a European classic.
