BMW : 2002 2002Tii

Here we have an early (plastic runner) 1972 BMW 2002 Tii. Original factory color ofSilver with dark blue and black interior with factory sunroof. She starts and runs butunfortunately there is rust at the left rear subframe mount causing thesubframe to hang down. There is no doubt that this is a project car andwill need much work to restore to her former glory. Make no mistake, youwill need to address rust at the rear subframe mount,and a few areas on the body. Many other items will need to be addressedas would be typical of any restoration. Of course another option wouldbe to remove the power plant and running gear and drop it in to a rustfree chassis but it would be a shame to do that to such a rare car withsuch a fantastic original color combination. Thepictures do not adequately convey the scope of work required on thiscar. The car would be best described as 'rough'. I STRONGLY suggest youinspect the car personally to ensure it's exactly what you want. The car is located in Vancouver, BC but I travel to the US frequently and I'm happy to help you import the car to the US as I have done this before. This car can be driven on to a trailer but there is no way itshould be driven on a public road. I have had the car parked for a few months now and since then I have noticed some coolant leaking from the radiator and the car is idling higher than it was before I parked it. I am happy to help drive or load the car on toa trailer or car transporter of your choice and ship anywhere in Canadaor the US at your expense.
