Description
Due to the overwhelming interest I've recieved since putting this car up for sale, I've decided to list it on eBay.
This is one of the few remaining original BMW 2002 Tii's in Australia. Although there are a few 2002s currently present in Australia, very little are much sought after Tii model. The Tii model comes with the bullet proof KugelFischer Mechanical Fuel Injection (Much more sought after/reliable than the carby found in other 2002s), larger brakes and booster, larger hubs and spindles and boxed rear semi-trailing arms.
This Polaris Silver 2002 Tii has had a recent complete overhaul of it's brakes and suspension as well as a full engine rebuild. The paint and brightwork of the car is beautiful in every light and for it's age, it is a very presentable car that wears it's age with pride. The interior has evidently had a recent retrim including both the seats and roof lining and the dash is crack free.
I bought the car over 3-4 months ago and have cleaned up a number of things including a full alternator rebuild, touching up on blemishes and I've also had the door brakes rewelded. The car has also been recently serviced.
The car has an exhaust that sounds amazing and is a real experience to drive, it's loud but not at all obnoxious. I've driven this car everyday to uni and work for the past 3 months and it hasn't missed a beat. This a real turn key car and I have had little trouble with it.
The only reason I'm selling this car is because I recently quit my job and decided that I won't be working during my post graduate studies at Uni.
No rust spots except for a small sized rust spot in the corner of the bonnet (about half the size of an iphone)I
These cars are quickly appreciating and is one of the cleanest/most original 2002 Tii I have ever seen, it'll be an absolute shame to see this car go. Given that, I am not in a major rush to sell this car as it is my only mode of transport at the moment.
