Description
Got this with the intention
of driving it for a bit & possibly doing a project on it. I have broken my
arm & I took it off road & declared it sorn. So I am limited with what I
can do & to be honest I have found a few areas of rust which has put me off,
but overall it is a clean car which drives nice.
It is a rare non sunroof 316i manual touring
Sterling silver
Clean from inside with a clean dash with only a 1cm crack.
117k miles, very good engine, better than most 316 cars iv driven not loud & tappety
I fitted the genuine mtech kit, minus the top bumper.
Lowered it ( although someone sold me coupe springs, the touring are heavier so rear is lower)
New power steering rack
Remote central locking
Steering wheel & hub ( still have original )
Pretty clean tailgate, only surface rust with a custom spoiler.
Interior clean with only small tear on rear seat base & 4 headrest conversion.
Mot till mid august
Tax ran out but the car has insurance so I can tax at buyers expense.
Overall a very straight car.
Bad bits are few spots of rust,
drivers wing is the worst but hidden by the kit.
Small patch on both sills ( very small but hidden by side skirt )
Rear panel behind bumper has some rust.
Passenger scuttle panel has been poorly repaired by someone previously ( as in picture )
Rear has a small dent
Drivers wishbone & possibly a track rod noisy.
Also when you change gear the rear makes a noise like the propshaft bush or diff bushes shaking.
Stereo not included
Being a rare non sunroof model it will make a nice project car for someone, clean up the rust & replace most bushes underneath & it will see many more years.
I have tried to be honest about the car, that’s why iv described the rust, you cant even see it behind the kit, it isn’t a lot but enough to put me off, just trying to be honest to avoid wasting peoples time.
I am in no rush to sell, as I can break the car for a decent amount, if I don’t get the money I want I will just tuck it into the garage & attack it later.
Located in B34 birmingham, strongly advise viewing before bidding, please allow time for me to reply to emails.
