BMW 318i Baur Cabriolet
1987 Model
This car is in great condition, it has been garaged for about 10 years and has remained rust free. It is also straight having never been in an accident.
The exterior, interior and roof all look good, with some minor cosmetic scratches on some parts of the car.
Bought in about 1998, this is a two owner car that was first owned in Mount Gambier.
The car runs and drives, though back when it was in use it tended to overheat, so I'm sure the engine needs some tweaking.
It is unregistered so I haven't taken it for much of a drive to test it, but it starts and I drove up and down the driveway a few times.
There are a few other little repairs needed, new glove box handle, light switch, etc. but nothing serious or too costly.
Aside from the gear knob, steering wheel and stereo the rest is all original.
I don't really want to sell this car as I had plans to fix it up and get it back on the road, but I am moving house and need room for
a bigger and more important project. With a bit of love this BMW could be an excellent, iconic car and it would be great to see it back on the road.
