Description
Selling my BMW E30 318IS 16V
Firstly the car is very far from perfect, the body work is very poor and will require two front wings (rust) and a full respray.
The car mechanically is very good, i have replaced both control arms/bushes all brake pads and discs
Recent new clutch (receipt to prove)
Has mot until next year January (no advisories)
Can't confirm mileage as i believe the clocks have been changed
Car started its life off as a hire car at thrifty which i have paperwork to prove along with a bmw service history (not full bmw history)
Car was recorded as a cat c in 2002 (no idea why or where the car was hit)
New rear exhaust box with warranty
H.I.D lights fitted
Brand new battery
Brand new bc racing coilovers which were professionally welded and zinc coated with a 5 year warranty on the welding and a year on the coilers themselves
car is pictured with brand new keskin alloys which will be included in the sale at the asking price, these alone were £750 and have only been driven on for 30 miles or so
I have replaced every single breather hose (genuine parts) and 80% of the water hoses, recently also replaced water pump, thermostat gasket and housing along with the thermostat itself and both temp sensors.
The fuel hoses within the engine bay have been replaced from the fuel filter up (genuine parts)
The car has a clifford remote start alarm which works spot on
Also the car has a genuine and rare ix kit which i did take off but is included in the sale
Genuine tech 2 front bumper with genuine us spec bumper trims fitted with aftermarket side lights
As you can see from the pics the IS interior is in i would say a very good condition given the year and age of the car although the drivers seat has a slight tear.
Rear headrests
Included in the sale is a pioneer bluetooth stereo with orion components
I have spent thousands on this car and i have only owned it just over a year and has been a project for me, I have lost heart in the car sadly as i just don't get the time to work on it anymore, its probably worth more to me than what anyone is willing to pay but if i don't get close enough to my asking price of £4,000 then i will break the car for parts
The car really needs to be viewed as the body work looks better in the pictures, in reality its shit
The black stuff on the arches is sealant which needs to be removed, the white stuff is filler which needs to be removed.
This was all covered up once the ix kit was fitted
All this car really needs is a full respray
Happy to swap for an e46 330 convertible
