I have only recently decided to sell the vehicle and it has just had an oil change, new fuel and oil filter and basic service completed within the last 2 weeks.
I bought this vehicle two years ago and a house move forces sale.
Vehicle history.
I purchased this vehicle two years ago from a family friend. This vehicle was bought originally with loads of optional extras and was involved in a minor accident causing front end damage. As all of the airbags deployed the vehicle was written off with approx 20k mies on the clock. I bought the vehicle as a Cat D and had it repaired using all BMW genuine parts and using a BMW bodyshop in Sheffield.
No expense was spared. This is my first ever Cat D vehicle and I was surprised how my insurance company added no extra premium and they were genuinely uninterested that it is a Cat D.
This vehicle is mechanically sound. It runs lovely and the only damage caused has been fully repaired. This is in no way a dodgy car sale I just bought it as I knew the previous owner, I had seen the minor damaged caused and I managed to make a saving as I wanted to purchase this exact same vehicle anyway.
Since I have owed it I have been the only passanger. I have not used the rear seats and the leather in the rear is like new.
The Mot is due in July 2015.
The Bad bits.
There are curb marks on the alloys from the previous owner. These can be powder coated and repaired however they have never really bothered me.
A few stone chips to the front bumper as expected in a vehicle of this age.
I am not desperate to sell the car and will not accept any silly offers.
This is a really lovely vehicle and I am honestly gutted to let it go. I have moved less than a mile away from work and just can not warrant the extra vehicle.
