Description
I'm selling my BMW 320d Compact as since buying it last year I have covered just 4 or 5k miles. In that time I have bought a motorbike and maybe only use the car once a month so its time to go.
When I bought the car I did a lot of research into known issues. I found two points of weakness being the inlet-manifold swirl flaps and the crank-case breather. I removed the inlet manifold and fitted blanking plates. This has no effect on the performance of the car or the insurance. I also cleaned the manifold and egr valve while I was there. I took the car to my local garage and had them fit the breather as I ran out of time.
A full service was carried out at the same time with an mot which it passed.
Since then I have only driven the car very rarely which lead to the battery dieing over winter. I replaced this a few months ago and the car drives very well., , Please excuse the appearance of the car, it needs a good wash which I will try and do before the weekend. I
t has a couple of scratches on the rear bumper, drivers door and a cracked brake light. The inner door handles are also a little worn but otherwise the interior and seats are in great condition and its a lovely place to sit.. all be it in traffic most of the time in London. , , The car is kept near New Malden and Tooting.
Note: unless you show me that you have third party insurance I will be driving.
