Hi,
I am selling my 08 plate BMW 320d SE. Car is in very good condition inside and outside and has recently had a full timing chain replacement by BMW Dealer as part of a recall. I will be as honest as possible in describing the vehicle as I have no intention of wasting my time or other's time.
I bought this car in July 2015, with the intention of keeping it. Unfortunately, a quad bike accident has left me with a back injury and I can no longer drive a manual car over any sort of longer distance, hence I have had to buy an automatic car to replace it. This is the only reason for sale and will be sad to see her go.
Body Work:
Very good condition. No evidence of any major damage. All sides are straight. One or two chips on the front bonnet, but nothing excessive given the mileage. Rear bumper has a small dent above exhaust, but again nothing major. Otherwise, only the occasional superficial scratch, which is age-related, and will probably buff/polish themselves out.
Upgraded DEPO Xenon Headlights with white LED angel eyes.
Interior:
Very good condition. Car comes with premium BMW CiC SatNav and i-Drive, which shows a split screen. This is the upgraded business model (Alpine 6.5" Screen and Alpine Speakers, and Harman Becker Headunit), with included updated maps. Dual Zone digital climate control, with separate back seat control in armrest. Cruise Control. Heated Screens and mirrors. Electric Windows all around.
This car is an SE spec, and originally came with black cloth upholstery. However, in an attempt to help with my back pain, I had the front seats swapped out for half leather Black M-Sport bucket seats as these are much more supportive and adjustable. The driver's side bolster has some wear, as per the photos. I still have the original SE spec cloth seats, which I am happy to include in the sale should you want to swap them back out. I also have the matching half leather back seat, which I have not had installed, but am more than happy to include in the sale as well.
Engine:
Very good condition. Starts first time. Efficient dynamics 177bhp, returning 650 miles to £55 tank of fuel combined and up to 65mpg on a motorway run. Start/Stop button with autostart feature.
Turbo is fine - no untoward whistling, noises or smoke. No other abnormal noises, bangs or smoking. Clutch works fine with no juddering.
Engine has had a new timing chain fitted by BMW. This is a common and expensive problem on these cars. I had the chain changed in July 2015 as part of a BMW 'Quality Improvement' Recall (receipt in photos) and parts upgraded to the revised version. There is the balance of the 12 month warranty on the work carried out by BMW, which will obviously come with the car.
Tyres:
4 good OE Spec Bridgestone Turanza tyres (runflat), all having about 5-5.5mm of thread on them. Alloys in good condition with the occasional scuff - Not perfect, but very good for age overall.

This is a genuine sale of a good condition car. Car will see some further use, so mileage will increase slightly.

The car is competitively priced considering it has i-Drive with Navigation, as well as the 177bhp N47 efficient dynamics engine, and given that the timing chain has been sorted out on this car.
