Description
2006 BMW 320i SE
I purchased this vehicle in February 2015 after it had been stood off the road since 2012. The story was that the previous keeper have sadly suffered a mental breakdown and had given the car to his sister.
It was in a sorry state but I have spent time and money bringing it up to a good standard. The mileage (183,000) is high for the year but from my understanding 95% of the mileage was motorway. It covered 30,000 in the first 12mths of registration.
On purchase I got the vehicle home to find that I was unable to open the bonnet, I replaced cables & catches and set about readying the car for MOT. With a brand new battery, some coolant and petrol it flew through the MOT with three advisories. As a result it had two new rear tyres and a new windowscreen. A full interior valet, a can of polish later and its an awesome drive.
Since then (and 4,000 mls) it has had:
New rear brake pads
Oil service
Cam cover gasket
Genuine Servo vacuum pump (common fault)
Genuine ABS hydro pump (common fault)
There are some marks and scars on the car but nothing major.
I absolutely love driving it but sadly it does not suit my lifestyle (3 dogs in a saloon car isn't great). I will certainly be buying another but it will have to be a tourer.
I have set the reserve to cover the money that I have spent - remember you bid to buy, not mess me around. I will not reply to messages asking "what is your bottom price".
It is advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to end the advert if I see fit.
Usual E-bay rules apply - I do not want to swap -
deposit of £50 from the winning bidder via Paypal -
cash balance and collection within 3-days of end of auction.
