Description
I have too many projects on the go so this reluctantly has to go. I have owned this car twice already and know i'll regret selling it again.
taxed till end of October and mot'd till 28th april 2015
all original bmw booklets. service history book stamped up to 56028 miles. some old mot's and a good few receipts.
runs and drives very well. it's stripped out inside but still quiet and comfortable on long journeys.
engine is sweet with no untoward noises or smoke. it is due a timing now so drive home at your own risk!
fitted with a 6 branch manifold and scorpion rear system.
"sport" lsd which locks up well and is nice and quiet.
spax suspension.
bimarco bucket seats with Renault logo's which are fia approved and still in date for a short while. these are mounted to side mount omp brackets. these were very expensive items. red sparco 4 point harnesses.
excellent bridgestone tyres on the front. uniroyals on the back are a tad melted looking but still legal.
quite a good solid shell but there are a few areas needing attention;
some minor surface rust on bottom of doors. not too noticeable, rear valance is crusty around towing eye and will require repair or replacement. small hole below n/s/r light which has been filled with white sealer. o/s/f wing will need replaced as its badly bubbled at the bottom.
both front footwells have had a small weld in the corners and a patch under the bonnet as shown in photos.
rear arches have been touched up but no signs of filler and they're certainly not rotten.
the roof is solid with no external bubbling. the sunroof tray has been removed and the original sunroof panel bonded into place. it is free of leaks.
scuttle panel below windscreen is untouched and rust free.
I sold all the interior out of the car. it has a dash (which is crack free!) and that's it. I do have the original seat belts which will also go with the car. a few wires i.e electric window switches, stereo etc could do with tidying/mounted.
car is located in oban, Argyll, pa344rp which is approx. 2 hours north of Glasgow.
