Description
BMW 325i manual e30 saloon 4 door. I only picked this up Monday with the view to getting on the road as a weekend car, I was under the impression it just needed two small plates of welding. It had been sat over a year without being moved as the previous owner lost the key, when he found it a few weeks back he put it up for sale after being sat.
I picked it up from Newquay, 180miles from my house, and it drove back fine, pulled well through the gears, temperature held nicely at about a third of the gauge
Got it back and had the underside checked and it needs the following (but maybe not limited to, haven't had it MOT'd)
* OSF inner arch/front sill holed approx 6" in length
* OSR front inner arch holed approx 6" length
* OSR lower valence started to rust away
* Bottom of battery tray needs a patch
Not too bad all in all, but I don't have the time or money to get all that done properly plus sort the cosmetics out which I'll explain now
* front seats worn
* interior generally tatty/tired although its ALL original even the car phone!!!
* NSF wing has lacquer peel as per photo
* Roof has some rust bubbles
* small rust bubble on boot lid
* bonnet has some scratches
* engine bay needs a good clean
Maybe more, I haven't even cleaned it! Moss on most of the car where its been sat, a quick jet wash will sort this!
The car has electric windows x 4, electric roof, electric mirrors, air conditioning, NO power steering, all four tyres are recent and the same make and are very good, has an alloy spare, battery on it is good as I put a good heavy duty used battery on it
Mechanically its very good for being sat a year! It did the 180 miles back very well indeed I haven't done a FULL check of the car, viewing is welcome and highly recommended, this is an old car! Please no silly offers, I'd rather not have to end up breaking it as don't really have the time or space. Collection only from Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, cash on collection Message me before putting in any offers, stating when you can collect etc.. I would consider a swap for something abiding by eBay rules, but you'd have to travel to me
