Description
BMW E46 330 D Touring M sport
Selling this rare beast as I now need a pick up for my work. She's been my daily runner for the last two years but also my pride and joy, I bought her with 145000 on the clock and she's now reading 168500 twenty three thousand miles of driving pleasure, she really is a beauty and I am genuinely sad to see her go. If money were no object I'd keep her, however.
I spent months looking for a six speed manual m sport, with all the M Sport goodies, they're impossible to find, I bought her from a guy in Birmingham who'd taken her part ex against his csl, there wasn't many receipts with her other than the swirl flap removal at 145000, however The service book was fully stamped up both by authorised dealers and Independent specialists and there were some old mot's, since owning her I've kept on top of her using a well regarded indie specialist in halifax, Mark Gully, who's a good friend, and had previously kept my m coupe in concourse condition. She's never wanted for anything, only in the last few months she's had new discs and pads all round, bush's front and rear, new gearbox doughnut and prop shaft mount, as well as a full service the beginning of December. She's also had two new back tyres this last week.
She pulls like a train as these 330 diesels are renowned for, I had an economy/performance remap done on her back in November as well as having her terracleaned last April. She returns 37/38 mpg on a long run and around 31/32 mpg average day to day driving. She really is an awesome piece of kit.
She has the usual stone chips on the bonnet and the odd mark here and there, the interior is great other than the slight wear on the drivers side bolster, to be expected after 170000 miles. There are a couple of areas on the body work where light corrosion is starting to show through however these are minor and being a 2005 reg therefore post 2004 model she is therefore under bmw's 12 year anti corrosion warranty, a bonus for anyone who has the time and intends seeing to this in the future. My only bug bear if I were keeping her would be to have the alloys refurbished there are numerous scuffs on them and again some corrosion on the rear left, again not an expensive job but time consuming.
All in all, a stunning car, personally I think these e46's are by far a better looking motor than the next generation E90's. She's a full years MOT and she isn't due another service for 17000 miles.
Now please no messers or silly offers, she's a genuine car if you've got a genuine question please don't hesitate to contact me 07556302360 I'll be looking for a down payment when a sale is agreed upon and then cash on collection. Please feel free to come and have a look.
Thanks
Luke
