Description
Up for grabs my beloved 2002 BMW 330D m-sport. Auto/tiptronic. in good condition.
The car has 85,607 miles , I have owned it for just over a year and have loved it,
but a change in work means it is no longer required for my daily commute up the motorway.
The car was originally used by the German embassey/consulate. So the spec of the car is amazing:
M-Sport steering wheel, powered & heated leather front seats with memory, heated/power folding mirrors, auto dimming rear view mirror.Full black leather interior with black carpets & headlining.
climate control, aircon, cruise control, rear parking sensors, bi-xenon headlights, auto lights, auto wipers, electric windows, remte cental locking
full colour european satnav6cd multichanger
dvd player with colour monitors retro fitted to headrests.ABS, traction contol, immobiliser, PAS, front & side airbags, foglamps.5 speed auto with "sport" tiptronic
plus the M-sport bodykit, wheels, etcI have probably forgotten alot of the cars features.
The car was recently serviced at an independent garage, MOT and 2 new rear tyres fitted, so is ready to go
V5 in my name, 2 keys, service pack with all bmw paperwork, service book, mots.
NOW THE BAD BITS:
The car is now 13 years old so does have various cosmetic marks, i have tried to include the worst of these in the photos above.-please note small dents in the passenger door (photo 12)
The wheels were purchased from a friend to replace the cars original MV2 wheels as two were cracked (a common problem), they are tatty and do need a refurb, but are straight and crack free.The drivers side mirror glass is cracked-still works fine.No.2 key requires battery to operate remote central locking-still works, starts the car, etc
drivers seat bolster is begining to show some wear-please see photothe boot switch seems to be faulty so the boot open light stays on the dash.the colour screens in the back of the headrests, no longer have power on/off buttons as these have been pushed inside. so they now require turning on witha screwdriver.and if im being really critical there is some surface rust begining to appear at the bottom trailing edge of the arches, but hey are by no means rotten/bubbling.OK so most of the faults listed were present when i bought the car, they didnt bother me at the time and do not affect the function of the car in anyway.
this is a very low mileage car, which is structually sound and is still tight to drive. no knocks, rattles or smoke.
any inspection welcome and viewing is highly recommended.
