I am selling my BMW 335i SE 2008 model, 57 plate auto. The car is in great condition for its age and has been maintained throughout regardless of cost. The car has covered 80,614 miles and has a full and comprehensive BMW service history. The milage may rise slightly throughout the listing as it is still used the odd time for work. I bought the car from Astle Scunthorpe with an approved used warranty which ran out in April this year. It has been very well looked after and any work needed doing has been done - backed up with reciepts from BMW by previous owners and work done in my ownership.
The car comes with one of the best specs available including satellite navigation, heated leather front seats, dual climate control, cruise control, automatic wipers, rear parking sensors, run flat tyres, xenon headlights and bluetooth connectivity.
The car is not due an MOT until April 2016 and the next service interval is not for another 7,000 miles. In my ownership I have had the rear brake pads changed and it has only just had a brake fluid change - both at Stratstone BMW. I have had both turbos replaced for brand new ones at BMW covered under the warranty. This was due to the almost innevitable wastegate rattle, which, I am sure you will have read about if you have done your research properly on these types of 3 series engines. So, rest assured that you will not have to face this problem.
The car has a couple of age related marks but nothing major. There is a light scratch around 2-3 inches on the drivers side rear panel just near the fuel cap and a few stone chips here and there - mainly as usual on the bonnet. The alloy wheels have a few kurb marks and could really do with refurbishment if you want them in pristine condition.
The tyre tread depths are as follows at the worst points so obviously have many miles of motoring left in them:
OSF - 5.3mm
NSF - 5.1mm
OSR - 4.3mm
NSR - 4.1mm
Alongside the brake fluid change the vehicle check carried out by Stratstone revealed a puncture on the passengers side front tyre. This will be repaired on 13th Oct.
The car has 3 previous owners and I have owned it since April 2014 and loved every moment driving it. It really is a great car to drive and I will be sad to see it go, but unfortunately due to a house renovation it just isn't practical anymore and so have had to purchase an old estate for all the tip runs.
I am in no desperate rush to sell as I currently have two cars anyway so please dont waste yours and my time with silly offers and I am not interested in part exchanges..
There will be no test pilots in my car unless the full amount is in my hand and valid insurance is shown.
