Very rare and sought after classic BMW, hard to find and especially with only 72000 miles.
I have had this car since June 2019, I purchased it with no MOT and it had not had an MOT since before 2005, the DVLA online database goes back to 2005 and there has been no MOT recorded since then, the car has only just been put back on the road, it passed last month with not one single advisory.
The car has quite a few owners recorded on logbook, however the previous owner bought the car in 2018 and never got round to doing anything with the car, the owner previous to him bought the car in 2006 as a small project, he also did nothing with it and it sat in a garage from 2006 until 2018 when he sold it. Please see photo of where it sat collecting dust for 12 years.
I also have a detailed list of dates of keeper changes which illustrates clearly a private plate change has been documented as an extra keeper. So the car has actually only had 7 owners that have used the car on the road and this includes myself, I’ve only just had the car MOT'd.
The car is unrestored, I wanted to retain the car's originality, it was a really decent shell having been kept in storage so long, all I've had done is some light paint work in some areas that required attention. It's also had welding done in the usual rust prone scuttle corners, most E30's started rusting in this area in fairly early years.
The rear arches also had some bubbling so these have been replaced to a very high standard with photos of the process.
thousands have also been spent on re-commissioning the car mechanically and the car has a comprehensive service history including many stamps in service book, 6 of which are main BMW dealership. Also present are invoices from previous owners in 90s/2000s.
