Hi there, You`re looking at my 2005 e46 318 sport coupe.
Unfortunately up for sale due to moving house and losing the driveway space. I regrettably didn't get to use the car as much as i would have liked to and having it sat there means its time to let it go.
The car is in great condition inside and out, with only two areas that let the bodywork down. One being a scuff on the front bumper and the second being a small scratch on the offside rear quarter. The interior is flawless with no rips, tears or excessive wear. All the electrics work as they should and the car doesn't suffer the rear electric window like many others. It has all the extras apart from navigation and heated seats, but has the isofix rear seats, 6 CD changer and full red leather throughout.
When i bought the car it was a non runner with a suspected oil pump failure, but upon further inspection it turned out the previous owner had attempted an oil change and it all became too much i think. So i used a local garage who has carried out the most recent work on the car to source and fit a replacement engine. Still the original N46B20A 2.0 16v engine type so it is still the same as when it left the factory. I have the invoice for the work carried out. The new engine runs fine with no knocks or bangs, selects all gears faultlessly and starts and stops as it should. As i said i haven't used this car much at all so it has only covered about 50 miles since i had the engine fitted back in January, but this is due to owning a second car and a works vehicle. The odometer currently shows 159,000 miles but the mileage on the donor vehicle the engine was sourced from was around the 88,500 mark, i can get the exact figure if necessary. I did look into having the mileage corrected on the car but due to not intending to sell it, I couldnt justify the £165 cost!
Since the car has been sat I have had it MOT`D and it has a had a new battery and two new tires. The only downside is the center exhaust rubber mount has perished so on start up and under low revs the center section of the exhaust knocks on the heatshield but I intend on getting this sorted before the sale ASAP. This doesn't affect the drive-ability of the car, its just one of those things that I personally would prefer rectified.
The wheels have been refinished in a Gloss Black with a Bronze Metallic and look great in the sunlight. I had the car HPI checked before i purchased it and that came back clear, i also have the printout for this as well.
