Selling my BMW E46 2003 318i
Have owned the car for 5 years. In this period I have replaced the engine mounts, wheel bearings and radiator. Most recently I have replaced the power steering pump, Water pump and drive belt.
Good points: -
1. Car mechanically is ok. the engine runs great. .
2. Has original OEM Sat Nav with original OEM CD changer in boot
3. 18 inch BMW M3 wheels
4. Paint work is good for age.
4. After market BMW Projector Angel eye headlights
Not so good points:
1. Engine valve stem seals require replacing. This causes the engine to blow out burnt oil smoke during idle. The car does not smoke when driving. It only occurs when left idling for over 10 mins. This is a common problem with this engine.
2. Master Key was lost. Only key is damaged however still opens doors and starts car.
Due to the issue with the engine valve stems seals I'm selling the car cheap and well below the average market price. The fact that I have purchased a new car also allows me to get rid of the car cheap.
