BMW: 3-series

I am selling my 1979 BMW 320i Baur Special Edition Convertible. This is a very special collectible BMW, number 689. There were only three 1979 models officially imported in 1979 and this car has a history of appearing in car shows across the country. It has a fuel injected 6 cylinder engine coupled with a smooth 5spd manual transmission that provides great pickup and a truly exhilarating driving experience. Everything is operational on the car and the interior and exterior are in great condition with only a few cracks in the dash. It also comes with an alarm system with keyless entry. The body is rust free with the exception of a few spots beginning near the front of the Targa top, and the lower right of the windshield (see pictures). I purchased the car on a whim, as a 320i was the first car I brought just out of college into my first real job and I always wanted a Baur. I just don’t drive the car enough. Hopefully it will go to someone who will drive it as it should be driven.
