Description
Up for sale is a 1989 BMW 325ix in alpine white over black
leather sport seats. This car is a beautiful example of old school German
engineering. With a 2.5 liter inline 6 putting power down to all four wheels
through an all-wheel drive system. Gear changes are smooth and effortless
thanks to a rare Getrag 5 speed transmission.
I have owned this car for just over a year and a half. I am the third owner, with the other two having lived in central BC. This car was stored in Liloette where the climate is arid and dry. Because of this there is very little rust on the car, with the majority being on the front right quarter panel of the car. There were some standard maintenance upkeep that has been done, as well as, some simple upgrades:
Mechanical:
-Valve cover gasket changed
-Distributor cap replaced
-Fuel pump/fuel filter replaced
-Carbon fiber cold air intake
-All rotors and pads replaced
-Bilstein HD struts and H&R sport springs installed
-OEM Exhaust replaced. With a slight difference being that the cat have been hollowed out to give a classic raspy exhaust note.
-Full alignment completed
- Car came as an automatic and was swapped to a 5 speed. Has BMW Z3 shifter rod for shorter throws, and has an ESC Tuning shifter rebuild kit so there is no looseness in the shifter at all.
Interior:
-ZHP leather shifter knob
-Mtech 1 steering wheel
-JVC Bluetooth head unit
-JL evolution c2 5.25 speakers all round
-Black leather BMW sport seats
Exterior:
-Professionally installed tint
- 15 inch BMW Euro weave rims
-Professionally detailed less than a month ago
The car has 245,000 km on it, which roughly translates to 155,000 miles.
So those are the pros, as well as a lot of other little things that I forget, but which add up to a very solid car. The cons are as follows;
-Rust on front right quarter panel
-Few rock chips on hood
-A/C needs to be charged
-Left lower bolster on driver’s seat has come apart slightly
As you can see the pros outweigh the cons extensively. This car turns heads where ever it goes and is always getting compliments on the quality of the upkeep.
Winner of auction must E-transfer $500 within 24 hours for deposit or the car goes back up.
Once full payment has been given, the shipping options are as follows:
-Local pick up
-Professionally shipped at buyers expense.
-Vehicle can be driven anywhere on the west coast at the buyers expense.
Happy Bidding.
