Description

Welcome to the auction for this truly stunning 2003 BMW 3 Series 318CI SE E46 Coupe Finished in Oxford Green Metallic:
I am selling this car on behalf of my Uncle, who is now living and working abroad as of recently. My Uncle has owned this car since 05/08/2012 and always ensured it was maintained properly, both inside and outside. It drives brilliantly and has proved to be very reliable too.
I know through experience that finding a good, clean, and genuine low mileage example of this model (E46) can prove a real challenge, but this car; I am proud to say; is definitely one of the better examples around.
It has been washed regularly (first using snow foam, followed by hand-washing using the two-bucket method and then being lathered down), it has also had its oil changed recently. It has always been parked in the far-corner of the car park (away from people who are likely to open their doors on it) hence the condition of the bodywork.
Overview:
Registration: DE53 KZG
Year: 2003
Fuel: Petrol
Transmission: Manual
Engine Size: 2 Litre (1995cc)
Number of Cylinders: 4-Cylinder
Odometer: 91,800 Miles (Genuine & Warranted)
Paint Colour: Oxford Green Metallic
Interior: Black cloth seats & upholstery with dark wood dashboard and centre-console trim.
Number of Keys: x4 keys
MOT: 26th February 2016
Exterior:
The bodywork is in excellent condition aside from the usual age-related marks (e.g. the odd minor scratch – nothing serious at all). No evidence of rust. The Oxford Green metallic paint is a really classy colour choice - it looks deep, rich and shiny, accentuating the cars lines beautifully; especially in the sun. The car is fitted with upgraded 18” staggered M-Series MV1 alloy wheels (which really set the car off nicely) – plus a matching spare wheel (x5 in total). This car is also fitted with a colour-coded boot lid lip spoiler. It has also had the boot lid (inner most) tail light clusters replaced recently with brand new genuine OEM parts (so it looks fresher than most E46 BMWs you will see around). Automatic exterior light function, xenon headlights, brilliant fog lights (front & rear), rear reversing sensors (in perfect working order), up-rated aero windscreen wipers. Reprinted registration plates (front & rear) – original prints are also included in the sale.
Interior:
The interior is in fantastic condition - it is clean and has been well cared for. It consists of black cloth sport seats, carpet and upholstery, grey roof-lining and beautiful contrasting dark wood dashboard and centre-console trim inserts. The seats are unmarked; with no bolster-wear, creases or rips whatsoever (unlike all of the leather 3 Series interiors of this age) - rear seats not used at all in my Uncle’s ownership. Genuine black carpet mats (front & rear). The car is fitted with the original CD/Radio (an expensive option in the day, as most had cassette players), a high-quality OEM sound system, leather multifunctional steering wheel (an expensive option, again). The car has air conditioning (very cold), cruise-control, electric windows (front & rear), an alarm, and immobiliser, driver and passenger front airbags, pillar airbags and door airbags. The car is fitted with a leather centre-console armrest (with integrated storage compartment), gear stick and handbrake lever gaiter. Chrome instrument panel dial surrounds and chrome electric window control switch surrounds. The car has never been smoked in. The interior has been fully valeted – although always very well maintained.
Mechanical:
The car’s engine and gearbox are all strong, reliable and performing as they should be. The car feels solid when drive and is equally impressive as a passenger. The car has always been well maintained and serviced with regular oil changes between services during my Uncle’s ownership too.
History:
The car has full service history (mostly BMW) at the garages (listed below):
23/12/2003 - 32,828 Miles - Gloucester BMW Specialists
03/05/2005 - 15,696 Miles - BMW Blue Bell Garage
29/07/2006 – 29,008 Miles - BMW Service Williams
22/02/2008 - 44,044 Miles - FieldLane BMW16/10/2008 - 53,729 Miles - BMWService Williams 04/08/2012 - 68,660 Miles -Birdhall Lane Service Station16/02/2015 - 87,476 Miles –Wilmslow Tyre Service Centre The car was also serviced at home by my Uncle in 2013, between the last two official services, were the spark plugs, engine oil, oil filter, air filter and pollen filter were replaced.
The car has recently had x4 new brake discs and brake pads fitted recently (and you can tell), costing almost £500 including fitting – paperwork to prove. The car was recently fitted with new spark plugs too.
All in all, the car still looks and drives fantastic, and is one of few genuine examples still around.
