Description
BMW 520D M SPORT, 57 reg.
Sought after Carbon Black Metallic. Very few of this spec still have this low mileage @ 63k genuine. This will go up as car is in daily use and my commute involves motorway mileage.
FSH, Stamped service book at 20k, 33k, 37k, 42k, 51k and next booked for 18/08 @ 63k. * * * Now done and stamped: Oil, filters etc etc, plus fresh years MOT NO ADVISORIES * * * Next MOT not due until 18/08/16. Has also had several mid-interval oil changes.
New brake discs & pads less than 3k miles ago, replacement fuel sender when I purchased the car, as it would not fill beyond half a tank, now fully rectified by TWG, (my local BMW specialist garage), Automatic Tiptronic gearbox oil change 4 months ago, runs very smooth. All receipts for work in original BMW folder.
New 18 inch multispoke alloys & performance tyres fitted at over 1500 GBP in Dec 2014. All tyres have a lot of tread remaining having been supplied fitted last Dec.
Selling with private plate (V8 YDR / "V8YDR" - "VADER"?) valued at 750 GBP (Has gone up £400 since I purchased this 10 months ago and new Star Wars comes out in Dec ;-)
High spec model incl, BMW iDrive system, Alarm (Thatcham 1) with Rem Cont, Blutooth Phone, with Phonebook, Call lists and logs etc, Push button start, Privacy glass all round, M Sport Tiptronic gearbox with Kick-down and Dynamic Traction Control override, Parking sensors front and rear with distance display on dash, Electrically adjustable front seats, CD Player, Digi Radio, Steering Wheel controls, Cruise Control, Tyre deflation warning system, Rain sensing wipers, Driver, Passenger and Side Airbags, Brake pad monitor system, Daytime Angel Eye lights, Xenon headlights, Tri-zone Climate Control, the list is endless. If you're familiar with the business spec BMW's then I don't need to list everything here. Needless to say you get a lot of car for the money.
Fast in Tiptronic mode, yet economical driving in full-auto mode. Averaging 52 mpg on my work commute which is half motorway and half B-Roads, 33 miles each way! Low tax bracket - £145 / year.
There are some small marks, but you have to look very close to find them, a couple of very minor, small stone chips, one tiny dent on boot lid (heavy acorn?). Over all it is in very good condition.
Paintwork is beautiful - looks black at night and has a blue sheen in sunlight, similar to the Avus Blue metallic that was so popular on older 3-series. Mechanically sound, as MOT inspection will demonstrate. All electrics working; both seats, all knobs and buttons for mirrors, windows, traction control etc. Only one thing I haven't figured out is 6 x CD stacker system mounted in glove box - seems to be detached or without power, despite head unit fully acknowledging it. Never bothered me, prefer radio or the engine note anyway, expect it's just a loose connection that can easily be put right yourself if desired.
Only selling to fund 4x4 due to expanding family.
