I bought this 520 M Sport Diesel for my wife as a surprise in December as we where having a problem with the 320 CI she has, but unfortunately she doesn't like it, as she finds it too big and hence harder to park (I know! :-) so she has gone back to the 320 as the issue on the 320 has been finally found & resolved anyway (Intermittently Faulty Eccentric Cam Sensor!) so the 520 has been pretty much sitting round since the 320 has been finally fixed, I have used it a few times, but I have a 535 myself, so it looks like its got to go sadly, as it a gorgeous looking car!
It was bought on the recommendation of my garage, as it had just had just short of £3500 spent on it, having the Timing Chains Pump and Injectors & Particulate Filter all renewed, which I understand that these are the 'Achillies Heal' of this model, and to quote 'you would be crazy to buy one that hadn't had this work done' as they are apparently well known weaknesses
I have the service History from BMW up to 91k plus I have some bills & stamps from the garage that I also use who have looked after it since.
The Car First Reg 6th March 2008, and the mileage is 158841 (But Motorway miles as the previous owner was in I.T. and travelled round to different locations hence great condition) As I have stated above it has had all the work done that are recognised weaknesses with this model (hence why i bought it) as it drives superbly
I can honestly say the car genuinely LOOKS & DRIVES like its done just 40000 - Just See the photos! You wont be disappointed!!
I am not saying it is 'immaculate' as there are obviously a few age related marks on it, which are totally minor and in the main pretty much unnoticeable, but I just wanted to be 100% upfront & honest - Overall its a Beautiful Car Inside & Out and a REAL looker!
I dont really expect anyone to buy it without seeing it, but if that is what you choose to do, then your bid will be legally binding, and form a legal contract and if you do not want this then please do not bid! I am a very busy man and dont have time for time wasters or people who bid just to come and see it! (as I had some years ago!) If you bid on it, and you win, then you HAVE bought it, and I will pursue any non -paying winning bidder through both eBay and also the small claims courts for all my costs & time! Please believe I am very capable of doing so! so please do not put either of us in this unpleasant position!
