BMW 520D SE Touring - Spares/Repair
I sadly have for sale my BMW 520D SE Touring, bought this car around 1 year ago and have done around 10k in it, the car has always driven spot on, no issues what so ever and all of a sudden at the weekend when driving at around 30mph the engine started revving out of control and after around 5 seconds the car just cut out and there was a puff of smoke out of the back. The car now won't start, it's not even turning over so suspect the engine is gone. The oil/coolant levels etc are still full so can only assume that the engine has gone beyond it's limits and been damaged (turbo oil seal maybe). With these issues sorted the car would be perfect again, no issues with suspension, steering, braking or anything I'm just gutted/shocked that this happened.
Haven't got the time/knowledge of how to sort this so selling as spares/repair, would be ideal as a project for someone or a mechanic to get back on the road, details are:
102k Miles
Full service history (due one soon although probably irrelevant now!)
Air con
Cruise control
Leather seats
iDrive
Roof rails
Park distance control (front and back)
Tyres are in good condition, plenty of tread left, bodywork is in good condition, there are light scratches around the car from plants brushing along side it etc but will all polish out. Car is listed elsewhere so may be withdrawn, feel free to ask questions/make offers etc etc, mobile number is 07534849698. Car is located in Wraysbury and will need towing away, car is now SORN'd.
